Questions
How often do you reconcile?
Twice a week, fortnightly or monthly, depending on your business. If you have a lot of transactions, run on tight cash flow or just want your numbers current, we reconcile more often.
Why not just hire an admin person?
You can, but then you're paying wages, super, WorkCover and leave, and they still need a BAS agent for your BAS. With us you get a team covering bookkeeping, BAS, payroll, debtors and admin for one fixed monthly fee, and no gaps when someone's sick or on holidays.
What does it cost?
Bookkeeping starts at $250 a month, BAS at $150 and payroll at $20 a payslip, all ex-GST. You get one fixed monthly figure after we've looked at your books. Add-ons are quoted separately.
I'm only just starting out. Is it too early?
No. Setting up Xero, payroll and BAS properly at the start is cheaper than fixing it later.
I'm a couple of years behind. Is that a problem?
No. We've had clients two or three years behind lodged within four weeks. We do the catch-up for clients moving onto a monthly package, so it stays fixed.
I've already got a bookkeeper. Is switching a pain?
Not really. We sort the handover and get access to your Xero file. Your accountant stays your accountant.
